Julika Wocial, BSN '19, was awarded the Excellence in Nursing Education award by the American Nurses Association – Massachusetts.

Amy Jarry, MS-NU ’06 was named the 2025 Norman Knight APRN of the Year.

Sara Looby, MS-NU ’00 received the 2025 Constance B. Wofsy Women’s Health Investigator Award from the clinical trials network Advancing Clinical Therapeutics Globally.

Sylvia Perry, MS-NU ’02, was appointed to the Board of Directors for Project Bread.

Loren Winters, MS-NU ’03, DNP/s, authored “Implementing a Multidisciplinary Lifestyle Medicine Clinic for Cancer Survivorship,” which detailed the implementation of a novel oncology-based multidisciplinary lifestyle medicine clinic that may help the quality of life (QOL) among survivors of cancer.

Elizabeth Harlow Hassan, DNP ’19, received the Bette Ann Harris ’83 Distinguished Alumni Award at the MGH Institute’s 45th Commencement ceremony. 

Daniel Kahn, MS-NU ’16, DNP ’24, received the Emerging Leader Award at the MGH Institute’s 45th Commencement ceremony. 

Marie Borgella, DNP '19, executive director, Learning and Development, at the Norman Knight Nursing Center for Clinical and Professional Development was named the new incumbent of the Dorothy Ann Heathwood Endowed Chair in Nursing Education. 

Orla Brandos, DNP ’13, was named the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, CT.

Valerie Fuller, DNP ’08, CAS-NU ’10, assumed the role of President of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) at the AANP Conference in June 2025.
 

Linda Valentino, DNP ’23, was appointed chief nursing officer at Calvary Hospital in New York.

Kevin Whitney, DNP '15, RN, was selected as president and chief operating officer for Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA.
