A Message from our Dean

Dear Colleagues,

maura abbot head shot

Over the past year, the School of Nursing has celebrated numerous accomplishments while continuing to educate exemplary nurses.

Since joining the IHP as Dean earlier this fall, I have been consistently impressed by the rigor of our programs, the passion of our students, the dedication of our faculty, and the commitment of our staff. From students receiving prestigious scholarships, to faculty being inducted into the American Academy of Nursing, to staff leading pivotal projects, we have achieved so much together.

The IHP School of Nursing is a cutting-edge and innovative academic community that continues to embody our mission and vision. I am thrilled to have joined the SON at such a significant time and look forward to the achievements and advancements we will pursue in the year ahead

Maura Abbott, PhD, AOCNP, CPNP-PC&AC, FAAN
