FAQ for the DEN
A. Prerequisite courses can be completed at any regionally accredited college or university in the US, including community colleges - see DEN application process and requirements.
A. Online courses are acceptable if they are from an accredited institution.
A. No, a lab component is not required.
A. For the Direct-Entry Master’s program, we will review all applications for this application cycle, deadline January 1, 2017, for admission to the September 2017 class. All prerequisites but two must be completed in order to be reviewed.
A. No, the School of Nursing clinical education staff and the faculty arrange clinical placements for all students.
A. No, there is not. See the DEN Funding Options page.
A. There is a process for courses to be reviewed by the Assistant Dean of the program. This review takes place once you are matriculated in the program.
A. Our Direct-Entry MS program is designed as a full-time program.
