Following is a series of 10 videos designed to correspond with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials' 10 Domains. Each video in the series contains a simulated clinical day; a pre-conference, clinical activity, and post-conference. Each video is intended to help clinical instructors with ideas on how to intentionally integrate concepts from the 10 Domains into their clinical teaching.
Domain 1 illustrates how nursing knowledge integrates multiple perspectives, including liberal arts and sciences, to inform the development of clinical judgment, innovation, and the provision of safe, high-quality care (AACN, 2026).
Domain 2 emphasizes the delivery of compassionate, individualized, evidence-based care that recognizes each person's unique preferences, values, culture, and lived experiences through therapeutic relationships, shared decision-making, and coordination across the continuum of care (AACN, 2026).
