Our Services
Telehealth visits are now a part of our healthcare system. As our nurse practitioner students are learning about telehealth, we can offer you virtual visits as part of our services at the Sleeper Center. Clients will learn how to participate in a virtual visit. Students will learn how to conduct a virtual visit with a health history and assessment.

These are conducted in-person, but we do offer telehealth as needed. If you choose telehealth, as a client, you will learn how to best participate in a virtual visit.

We provide free health screenings, education, and referrals with the goal of supporting clients in health promotion.
Our current and future work includes:
- Group health education.
- Assessments and resources to address social determinants of health and consequences of climate change.
- Develop long-standing community partnerships.
- Integrating telehealth into experiential learning opportunities to address health inequities.
- Foster interprofessional collaboration experiences with occupational therapy and physician assistant programs.

"My husband and I are most appreciative and deeply grateful to the students and their guiding teachers and supervisors for training them on the right path to be future health professionals in the medical field."
