This 19-week program, offered through the Department of Physician Assistant Studies, is designed for physician assistants (PAs) seeking to transition to psychiatric practice, new graduates interested in psychiatry, and PAs currently working in psychiatry.
The CNEcl Certification Preparation Course is designed to provide the tools and knowledge needed for the National League of Nursing (NLN) Certified Academic Nurse Educator (CNE®cl) examination. This course offers flexible options, with a fully self-paced experience, a 6-module asynchronous course, or an enhanced 8-module version with the added benefit of 2 live virtual sessions.
This comprehensive course meets one of the core requirements of the certification exam given by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Learn about assessment & diagnosis, care planning, implementation, and evaluation through interactive modules with video content, enrichment resources, critical thinking exercises and knowledge checks.
Conflict is inevitable and a part of life. This self-paced module is a practical application of conflict management literature and theory for participants who want to better understand and navigate conflict.
This certification course introduces dry needling as a treatment modality, emphasizing evidence-based practice and safe implementation for a variety of pathologies, such as trigger points. Upon successful completion, participants will be certified to perform dry needling as physical therapists in the state of Massachusetts; practitioners should consult their respective state or professional practice acts for additional requirements elsewhere.

This conference & corresponding workshop(s) is designed to highlight the connection between physical therapy and social justice and health equity. We will introduce the social determinants of health—defined by the World Health Organization as the conditions under which people live, work, learn, and play—and explore how patients’ health and well-being can be viewed as socially constructed. We discuss the role of systems of oppression and location of position in generating health inequities and help participants develop strategies to intervene to promote health equity.
This is a comprehensive intermediate-level course series in orthopedic/sports physical therapy, that encompasses commonly encountered disorders of the spine and extremities. The emphasis will be on the integration of current scientific literature and clinical practice into developing clinical reasoning skills and proficiency in the execution of manual therapy and movement science assessment and intervention procedures.
