A new way to learn. A better way to deliver care.
Interprofessional education occurs when two or more professions learn with, about, and from each other to enable effective collaboration and improve health outcomes (World Health Organization, 2010). The goal of interprofessional education is to develop team based clinicians who practice collaboratively and provide client-centered care.
IMPACT Practice at the IHP realizes the goal of interprofessional education for students through required coursework and clinical work in our IMPACT Practice centers.
