Eliana graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry and Materials Science. During her undergraduate years she obtained an Emergency Medical Technician license which she used to work for multiple ambulance companies and volunteered on WPI's Emergency Medical Services Squad during her free time. Following graduation, she began working at UMass Memorial Medical Center's University Campus in the Emergency Room. As an ER Technician, she worked closely with nursing and physician staff to care for critical patients in the Level 1 Trauma Center. Combining her engineering love for medical devices and experience working in healthcare, she now helps teach the next generation of healthcare providers.
