About the President's Council

The President’s Council serves as a bridge between President of MGH Institute of Health Professions, the Board of Trustees, the Institute community, and the community at large in Greater Boston and beyond.

Its members serve as well-informed ambassadors for the IHP with a focus on bringing the message of the IHP to the wider world. The Council is integrated throughout the school via partnerships with the President, the Board of Trustees, the Chair of the Board of Trustees’ Development Committee, the Chief Development Officer, and the Chief of Staff.

Current Membership

Members serve a maximum of four terms of three years each for a maximum of 12 years and may be invited to serve as an Honorary Member at the conclusion of their final term.
