
Council Function and Composition
The Mission, Values, and Community Excellence Council, co-chaired by the IHP President and Chief Equity Officer, provides leadership for health equity as a strategic priority of the institute, and is responsible for overseeing planning, activities, and initiatives to advance the Institute's mission.
The Council Membership includes:
- Office of Mission, Values, and Community Excellence (MVCE Office)
- Office of the Provost representative
- Faculty: Two representatives and one alternative each from the School of Nursing (SON) and the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS)
- Staff:
- Three at-large representatives appointed by the Staff Council
- One representative from the office of Enrollment Services (OES)
- One representative from the Office of Student and Alumni Services (OSAS)
- One representative from the School of Nursing (SON)
- One representative from the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS)
- One representative from the Office of the President (OOP)
- Associate Vice President of Human Resources, IHP
- Chief Communications Officer (OSC)
