Lisa Liss graduated in 2009 with her MSN from MGH IHP. She is a board certified pediatric NP. On graduation she worked as a primary care provider for adolescents with substance abuse. She was trained in psychopharmacology by a Doctor in Pharmacology with a specialty in Psychopharmacology. She was then chosen to sit for the beta board for a Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist (PMHS) certification through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. After working for a year with this patient population, she continued in pediatric primary care and covered the maternal mother and child unit at St. Elizabeth's, working one evening a week with adolescents with substance abuse disorders. After 5 years, she left pediatric primary care to work at Framingham Psychiatric Counseling, and was mentored by Dr. Brian Mazmanian. She grew her practice and when he decided it was time to retire, she took over the practice and it was renamed Framingham Psychiatric Care, where she now works as one of the two managing partners.
