Alyce serves as a Director at Optum, where she supports life science clients in evidence generation strategies and population health studies using Optum’s de-identified real-world data sets. 
Trained as an adult and women’s health nurse practitioner, Alyce practiced in both adult and OB-GYN clinical settings before transitioning to the business side of health care. Alyce has held senior leaderships positions at several medical communications companies, where she spearheaded the development and production of certified continuing education programs for nurses, pharmacists, and physicians across a variety of therapeutic areas. In this capacity, Alyce built deep knowledge and expertise in educational outcomes methodologies and reporting strategies and created and launched innovative educational designs including in-person–simulated patient demonstrations, illustrative video elements, patient education materials, and best of breed online educational modules. Alyce is an MSN graduate of the MGH Institute of Health Professions and holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University. She lives in Newton, MA, with her husband and two sons.
