Separately, the IHP offers a Tuition Remission Program to qualified faculty, staff, administration, and dependent children and non-dependent children (up to age 27) of qualified employees. The amount of the scholarship granted will depend on your eligibility status described on our benefits page.

Students who are accepted into a degree-seeking program may also apply for federal loans using the FAFSA at studentaid.gov.  Students must be at least ½ time status to receive these loans.

Check with your employer to access your MGB education and/or training benefit. These may be used in conjunction with the Tuition Reduction and Incentive Plan.

Continuing Professional Development, Prerequisites and Non-degree courses do not qualify for financial aid because the employees enrolled in these programs are classified as non-matriculated students.

The IHP will not issue new vouchers after the Spring 2022 term. Vouchers expire after two years, and we will honor all unexpired vouchers through the Summer of 2024. Employees cannot use both a voucher and the discount – we will compare the impact of voucher use with the calculated discount and offer the greater of the two. All voucher rules and regulations in place at the time of issuance are applicable, and monitored by the Registrar and Bursar’s Office.

We have reduced the tuition for the MHA program over 50%, bringing the total cost to under $26,000. This change ensures the program remains both accessible and affordable, reflecting our commitment to providing high-quality, graduate education at a competitive cost for all enrolled students.

Yes, the Tuition Reduction Incentive Plan extends to children and spouses/domestic partners of employees at MGB entities, provided they meet the program’s eligibility requirements. Verification of the employee's active status must be submitted each semester to confirm eligibility.

Verification for the Tuition Reduction Incentive Plan must be submitted by the registration/add deadline for each semester.
