Speech, Language and Literacy Center

Speech, Language and Literacy Center logo
We continue to work closely with MGH and Mass General Brigham in monitoring the most up to date information from the CDC and state and local public health officials. The Institute of Health Professions and the IMPACT Practice Center will continue to use their guidance and expertise to inform our decisions and will reopen only as the situation allows - the SLLC will remain closed to all on-site client visits for the foreseeable future.

Welcome to the Speech, Language and Literacy Center (SLLC) at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, located in the Charlestown Navy Yard of Boston.

The Speech, Language and Literacy Center is part of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at the graduate school.

We offer comprehensive assessment, therapy and specialty services for both developmental and acquired disorders of speech and language, helping people of all ages communicate more effectively. Learn more about the Speech Center services.

Clinicians at the Center

Graduate students enrolled in our Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program, and those enrolled in our Certificate of Advanced Study in Literacy and Language program work with children and adults with communication and reading difficulties. Our clinicians are mentored by certified and licensed faculty members of the CSD Department who closely supervise all sessions.
