The Registrar provides students with up-to-date course information, maintains and preserves student academic records and serves as a conduit between students and programs for the communication/enforcement of academic policies in an effective and judicious manner. We provide adequate and equitable space to meet teaching needs and maintain honesty and integrity in the delivery of all services while always ensuring the highest level of quality and service to all Institute constituents. We approve students for graduation and certify graduates for examiners.

The MGH Institute of Health Professions has partnered with Parchment Inc. to order and send your transcript securely. The Institute charges $10.00 per transcript. Parchment Inc. charges additional fees for processing based on the delivery type. Any additional fees will be calculated at the time of your order. Order updates will be emailed to you and your order status and history will be available online using your Parchment account. Text messaging is also available for status notifications.

NOTE: When mailed, transcripts are placed into security envelopes that once sealed, are official, safe and secure and do not require the signature of the Registrar.

The MGH Institute of Health Professions provides the option for both paper (mailed) and secured electronic (PDF) academic transcripts for all students from the following programs:

  • MGH Institute of Health Professions - All Degree/Certificate/Non-Degree Programs
  • MGH School of Nursing
  • Shepard-Gill School of Practical Nursing
  • MGH Adult Nurse Practitioner Program
  • MGH Respiratory Technician Program

Note about electronic transcripts: The Institute has appointed Parchment Inc. as the designated agent for processing and sending official electronic transcripts on behalf of MGH Institute of Health Professions. The electronic transcript that is produced using this service contains the identical information as the printed transcript and can be certified as unaltered by uploading the file to the company’s website that is provided during the delivery process. Parchment Inc. has been granted the authority to deliver all such electronic transcript requests on behalf of MGH Institute of Health Professions and respond to any inquiries regarding the transactions.

Request instructions

Transcript Orders will be processed by Parchment Inc. on a regular basis during regular business hours. Requests should be made well in advance of the date that the transcript will be needed. Transcripts will be sent after a request is received, provided the student has no restrictions to prevent this.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS THAT NEED TO BE ATTACHED TO A TRANSCRIPT REQUEST: If you have a document that requires Institute verification/signatures to be included with your transcript request and delivery, the document must be completed and returned to you BEFORE you submit your transcript request. Be sure to allow ample time for forms to be completed and returned to you for inclusion with your transcript request.

Order Transcript

The first time you request a transcript, you will be required to create a new account within the Parchment system. You will then need to complete a consent form before your order can be processed.
