Victoria Dubin, PT, DPT, is a PhD student in the Rehabilitation Sciences program. She is mentored by Dr. Jonathan Bean, MD, MPH, through the Boston VA Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center (GRECC). Her research interests include aging in place, home- and community-based rehabilitation, mobility assessment, fall prevention, and the use of technology-enabled approaches to improve rehabilitation delivery and support clinical decision-making for older adults.
Victoria earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The George Washington University and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has practiced across a variety of rehabilitation settings, including outpatient orthopedics, direct-access physical therapy, telehealth, and home-based care. Her clinical experience includes leadership roles at ZoomCare in Seattle, Washington, where she directed physical therapy operations across Washington and Oregon, as well as positions with Select Physical Therapy, Bay State Physical Therapy, Luna Physical Therapy, and Kins Physical Therapy.
Throughout her career, Victoria has been interested in innovative models of rehabilitation delivery that expand access to care and support long-term independence in community-dwelling older adults. Her clinical experiences have shaped her interest in the intersection of rehabilitation, technology, and healthcare delivery, with a focus on improving mobility and function in real-world environments.
