Jennifer Mackey, SLPD, CCC-SLP, is Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor with the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at MGH Institute of Health Professions. She also teaches the Early Intervention course, and is the Coordinator of the Early Intervention Concentration.
Jennifer is a specialist in pediatric speech-language pathology and has experience in a variety of settings, including schools, early intervention, acute rehabilitation, private practice, and Head Start. Her areas of interest include working with families, early speech and language issues, speech sound production in young children, autism, and written language in the classroom. Jennifer is also interested in workplace well-being and emotional health in graduate students.
In addition to her teaching and administrative duties, Jennifer is a member of the MA Department of Public Health Early Intervention Higher Education Task Force and is the VP of Advocacy for the Massachusetts Speech-Language-Hearing Association (MSHA).
