BRIEF: Pillars of Excellence Awards Recognize Employees' Contributions

Nine individual winners and four teams took home Pillars of Excellence Awards at this year’s annual event, held Tuesday in 1 CW. Similar awards events are held across the Mass General Brigham system, as part of a long-standing history of celebrating the outstanding contributions of talented employees across the organization.

“I look forward to the Pillars of Excellence Awards every year,” President Paula Milone-Nuzzo told the IHP audience. “It’s a time to recognize and celebrate teams and individuals who uplift our mission of preparing health professionals and scientists to advance care for diverse society through leadership in education, clinical practice, research and community engagement. I’m especially proud to support and work for such committed individuals here at the IHP, and to call out those who specifically have gone above and beyond.”

Following virtual remarks by President and CEO of Mass General Brigham, Dr. Anne Klibanski, Director of Human Resources Sarah Welch and Provost Reamer Bushardt handed out the Pillar Awards. Check out this carousel to see the winners.
