Esther Ayuk, MS, CCC-SLP, CBIS is an alumna of the MGH Institute Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program. She is a certified brain injury specialist, with interests in adult neurogenic communication disorders and cognitive-linguistic disorders. 

Esther has worked as a speech-language pathologist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital since 2017. Her clinical research focused on the standardized assessment of language and cognition across the continuum of care and the role of this information in predicting patient outcomes and influencing health-related quality of life. She continues to work at Spaulding on a per diem basis.

Esther joined the IHP in 2020 as an Instructor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She assumed the role of Coordinator and Clinical Supervisor of the Aphasia Center in 2021. In addition to her clinical education and administrative duties, Esther teaches CD-843 Acquired Cognitively Based Communication Disorders and CD-839 Aphasia in Adults. She also serves as a consultant to the CSD Clinical Practicum Committee and as an Equity Advocate for IHP search committees.
