Student Excellence in Leadership Award

This award honors a students graduation from the Genetic Counseling Program who has been identified by peers as demonstrating outstanding leadership in the following ways:

  • Fosters a collaborative environment both in and outside of the classroom
  • Demonstrates supportive, responsive relationships with peers
  • Leads, promotes, and engages in activities that improve the student experience

Student Excellence in Service Award

This award honors a student graduating from the Genetic Counseling Program who has been identified by peers as demonstrating an outstanding commitment to service in the following ways:

  • Either active participation in IHP and/or outside service initiatives or piloting a new initiative that benefits the Program and the IHP,
  • Makes significant contributions in their service work,
  • Positively represents the genetic counseling profession and the IHP through their interactions with peers and community service organizations.
