Instructional Design Services
As a faculty development resource, the MGH Institute Instructional Designers foster a culture of excellence and innovation in teaching. They collaborate with Institute faculty to improve the student learning experience through the application of evidence-based practices. They provide faculty support through a variety of methods including confidential one-on-one consultations, workshops, events, and online resources.
The Instructional Designers provide confidential one-on-one consulting to faculty on a range of teaching challenges. Using learning theory and research based practices, they help instructors refine their teaching skills, adopt new practices, and enhance student learning. Workshops and Events

Faculty Compass: Teaching
The Instructional Designers created and maintain the “Teaching” section of Faculty Compass where faculty will find resources related to preparing for a course, teaching a course, assessing student learning, and evaluating your teaching.
