Pay It Forward

We offer many ways to make higher education accessible and achievable, and this referral program is just one; it is designed to connect talented individuals with a passion for healthcare education to the exceptional opportunities available at MGH Institute of Health Professions.

Qualifying referrals will be awarded a $500 tuition reduction.

We invite you to pay it forward and inspire someone you know to discover the benefits of a degree from the IHP.  If you’d like to introduce someone to IHP, fill out the form and we will connect with them to explore their interest.

Questions?

If the prospective student enrolls, a $500 reduction will be applied to their first-term tuition bill. This money cannot be applied to fees and will only be granted once, regardless of multiple nominations.

The referral is stackable with other incentives. Students can combine the $500 with other programs like our Tuition Reduction

This program is only offered to new prospective students who have not inquired to the IHP within the past year. It can be applied to any program, except for the PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences degree, Nursing Education grant recipients, and non-degree offerings like online prerequisites.

Anyone can refer a student and there is no limit to the number of referrals you can make.

We appreciate your referral and are glad they are here! The program was launched on 7/1/24. To be eligible for the Pay It Forward tuition reduction, the referred student cannot have already enrolled, deposited into the program, or been an inquiry within the past year.

Why Did You Refer?

Every single course, something in the content of that course directly applied to my real-life clinical practice. Your entire capstone can be project related and applicable to something that you're passionate about, that you're going to use.

Referred two coworkers to the IHP PP-OTD program

She was kind of going back and forth about it...because it is intimidating - a doctorate - 'Could I hack it?' I encouraged her and let her know the skills are portable no matter what you're doing, and that it's doable. And throughout my time in the program I was talking with her about it, and she would ask me questions, and I just really encouraged her. It's how I wound up getting my doctorate, someone encouraged me.
