Welcome from the President
On behalf of the faculty, students, and staff of the MGH Institute of Health Professions, I am delighted to welcome you to our vibrant community of learners, scholars, and health professions leaders.
My leadership is grounded in a deep belief that health professions education must be responsive, integrated, and impact-driven. At IHP, that means advancing interprofessional education, strengthening academic–clinical partnerships, and ensuring our graduates are prepared to lead in increasingly complex health systems. It also means investing in innovation, scholarship, and workforce development in ways that improve outcomes for communities.
Take a virtual tour of our campus.
The MGH Institute community has embraced a strong commitment to health equity, which fosters an inclusive learning environment to ensure our graduates become culturally sensitive practitioners who are able to care for an increasingly diverse population.
As the only degree-granting member of the Mass General Brigham System, and with our close affiliations with Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Navy Yard neighbor Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and other institutions and community centers within Mass General Brigham and across Greater Boston and beyond, we offer our students the distinct advantage of learning and practicing with the best in their fields.
Founded in 1977 by visionary leaders at the MGH, we take pride in the evolving traditions of the Institute and look forward to building an even brighter future.
On behalf of the Institute community, I invite you to learn more about us. We strive to continually improve our programs and services, and I invite you to share your comments and suggestions.
