Steven M. Ciesielski

Steve Ciesielski, MA, is Lead Academic Support Counselor for the School of Nursing at MGH Institute of Health Professions. He joined the Institute in January 2013 as a full-time Academic Support Counselor. Steve's responsibilities include coordinating, promoting, and facilitating academic support services for students in the School of Nursing. Services he provides include individual and group support on stress/time management, anxiety, test taking, and assistance with APA/writing.
Steve is active in the IHP Community, including being a member of the Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Council, and the Staff Council Chair for 2017-2018.
He received his Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Fairfield University and is a National Certified Counselor. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Providence College.
Steve brings over 15 years experience as a creative manager in education, combining a person-centered approach with a pragmatic disposition to deliver sound student services.
