The Center for Interprofessional Education and Practice is re-launching the Schwartz Rounds® program, joining a worldwide community of hundreds of healthcare organizations committed to compassionate care. These sessions provide our IHP community with dedicated time to share experiences, reflect on emotional challenges, and strengthen the human connections that make healthcare more compassionate. Studies have shown that the program reduces psychological distress, improves teamwork and communication, and increases compassion for patients and families. By supporting caregivers’ emotional well-being, we enhance the care experience for both staff and patients.
Schwartz Rounds are for everyone in the IHP community! Please join us on Wednesday, November 5th from 12-1pm in 1CW for our first Schwartz Rounds of the 2025-26 Academic Year: "The Patient I'll Never Forget", featuring personal stories from IHP faculty panelists. Pizza will be served.
