Moving Forward Together, presented by Tedy’s Team Center of Excellence in Stroke Recovery at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, is a day designed to help stroke survivors and care partners connect with a supportive community, discover what feels possible, and develop clear next steps for moving forward.

This free event, led by health and rehabilitation specialists from the MGH Institute, will feature a talk by Kathy Lyons a nationally respected expert whose work focuses on helping people shape recovery around what matters most to them, along with a hands-on goal-setting workshop, lively discussions, food and connection, and a music-and-movement session with Betsi Graves of Urbanity Dance’s Movement Meets program which leverages the spirit of community and the power of movement to support recovery and improve lives. A dedicated breakout session will allow stroke survivors and care partners to focus on their unique perspectives.

All stroke survivors and care partners welcome, regardless of time since stroke or prior connections to the MGH Institute. Lunch will be provided, and free, accessible parking is available.
