Accessibility Resources is hosting a virtual workshop for all IHP students, staff, and faculty to discuss the importance of disability representation in spaces dedicated to diversity. Topics will include defining ableism and non-disabled privilege, the different ways ableism can present, how we can reframe disability, and discussing special considerations as future healthcare professionals.
Following the workshop, Accessibility and Wellness Coordinator, M Meyer will be providing an open office hour from 1-2pm. Bring your questions and/or thoughts about disability, accommodations, accessibility, and equitable access!
