Benjamin Dichter, PhD, will discuss the current landscape of data sharing in neurophysiology, focusing on how standardization through NWB and centralized repositories like DANDI are transforming collaborative research. He willl demonstrate how these tools can be integrated into research workflows to enhance reproducibility and accelerate scientific discovery. The talk will include practical examples and recent success stories from the neuroscience community.

Ben is the founder of CatalystNeuro, a consulting and software development company specializing in neurophysiology data standardization and analysis. His work focuses on developing and implementing the Neurodata Without Borders (NWB) data standard and the DANDI Archive, enabling efficient data sharing and collaboration in neuroscience. Through CatalystNeuro, Ben leads initiatives to create and maintain open-source software tools that facilitate neurophysiology research and data analysis.
