Child Development Day is an opportunity for health professions students to learn about early child development across domains as they practice conducting a developmental assessment through a telehealth platform.
Lead by IHP faculty with expertise in pediatrics, interprofessional teams of students across PT, OT, Speech Pathology, Audiology, Genetic Counseling, Physician Assistant, and Nurse Practitioner programs will guide caregivers and children through an interview and interactive series of age-appropriate play activities that can be observed virtually, targeting gross and fine motor skills, movement, social interaction, communication, and cognition.
Seeking Children (and their caregivers) 6 months-3 yrs 11 months. (bdays 11/24/21-4/24/25)
