Join in-person or virtually this September for the IHP’s 3rd Annual Community Pantry 5K – “Look what we CAN do together” event.
NEW this year: An opportunity drawing sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations and digital eMedals for all participants.
With multiple ways to engage, anyone within the IHP community can participate.
- In-Person: In-person registrants are invited to complete a predetermined 5K route around the Navy Yard on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in whatever manner they chose. Given that individual schedules may vary, participants can start anytime between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Once complete, registrants are invited to join the post 5K social celebration at Blackmoor from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Group completion is encouraged to increase the fun factor and to build community.
- Virtual: Virtual registrants are invited to complete their 5K anytime between September 17-24, 2025. The distance can be covered by walking, running, skating, jumping, or by engaging in another fun movement activity. Participants are encouraged to grab a friend, a classmate, or an alum to complete their 5K!
- Cheerleader: Cheer on the in-person and virtual participants while supporting the IHP’s Community Pantry by registering as a cheerleader!
Registration
In lieu of a registration fee, registrants are asked to either put pantry items into the donation bins located in the lobby of 36 or 2CW leading up to the event or donate online directly to the community pantry. More information on how to donate is included in the registration confirmation email.
