
Tonya R. Tate, PhD joined the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2024 as a Lecturer for Developmental Psychology and Foundations of Psychopathology in the Online Prerequisite Program.
For the past 15 years, Dr. Tate has taught courses (both online and in traditional classroom settings) focused on human development across the lifespan in Education, Psychology, and Health Science programs. Outside of teaching, her current research interests include coping with stress during life transitions and trauma-informed practices. She is also passionate about supporting adult learners in achieving their academic and professional goals.
