
Peter A. D'Arrigo Jr. is President of D’Arrigo Brothers Company of Massachusetts in Chelsea, a wholesale produce company founded in Boston in 1923 by Peter’s grandfather and great uncle. The company later expanded and founded D’Arrigo Bros. of California in 1925 and D’Arrigo Bros. of New York in 1948. The first ever brand of fresh vegetables in the USA, Andy Boy, was trademarked in 1927 by D'Arrigo Bros. and has been recognized for more than 80 years as a leading brand in the industry. Today, D’Arrigo Bros. remains a family-owned business and is the second largest vegetable producer in the US.
Peter brings outstanding business acumen to the Board. He is also President of New England Produce Center in Chelsea, one of the largest produce markets in the world and the largest privately owned market in the country.
Peter received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
His daughter, Lauren D’Arrigo, graduated in 2014 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the IHP.
