Monica Arrigo, PT, DPT, is part of the Clinical Education Team as an Instructor in the Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at MGH Institute of Health Professions
After graduating from Boston University in 2002, the majority of her clinical practice has been in the long-term acute care setting at Spaulding Hospital in Cambridge, MA. Her clinical expertise includes oncology and complex medical patient populations. She also spent some time as a traveling physical therapist, experiencing a variety of settings and gaining a better perspective for the delivery of physical therapy across the continuum of care. She continues her clinical practice in inpatient rehabilitation on a per diem basis at Spaulding Cambridge.
Dr. Arrigo has been teaching at the MGH Institute since 2013 as a seminar facilitator and lab instructor. She has worked closely with the Clinical Education Faculty to bring innovative models for clinical education to Spaulding Cambridge. She is also a Lakshmi Voelker Certified Chair Yoga Instructor and pioneered a thriving yoga program for inpatients at Spaulding Cambridge.
