What is your current research focused on?
The focus of my research is on musculoskeletal injury in military populations, specifically, I will be looking at different aspects of RED-S and how that affects soldiers' risk for musculoskeletal injury.
What do you think is special about the Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences program here at the MGH Institute?
I first learned about the IHP Ph.D. in RS program from alumni.
Why did you choose to come to this program rather than a doctoral research program in your specific profession?
I chose an interdisciplinary program because I do not believe healthcare can nor should be silo'ed. I enjoy the collaborative approach across disciplines to expand our reach and effect.
What are your goals for the future after you graduate?
My goals for after graduation would be to continue my research while also teaching at a health science or PT program in the greater Boston/New England area.
