Dr. Weintrob is a physical therapist and athletic trainer, currently practicing as a physical therapist with Chicago Stars FC of the NWSL. As part of the Chicago Stars sports medicine staff he provides rehabilitation services for the club and assists with workload monitoring, injury prevention, and individualized return to sport progressions. Prior to the Stars, he worked as an athletic trainer at Boston University, providing comprehensive care for students participating in varsity and club sports, ROTC, and dance team, and provided mentorship as part of the Athletic Training Fellowship in Neurology and Residency in Orthopedics programs, helping to develop and educate clinical specialists in orthopedics and neurology. He has also worked as a physical therapist in the outpatient setting, providing care to patients with a variety of orthopedic, post-operative, and neurological conditions. His clinical interests include movement analysis, rehabilitation, and bridging the gap from rehab to return to sport.
