Matt is a practicing Athletic Trainer with ten years of clinical practice experience within the professional, collegiate, secondary school, and physicians practice settings. Most recently, he coordinated care for the Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving program at Northwestern University. Clinically, Matt is passionate about the intersection of athletic training, primary care, and population health.
Upon completing undergraduate studies at Canisius University, Matt earned his MS in Human Physiology from Boston University’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Athletic Training from Indiana State University.
Matt also lectures within Northwestern Medicine/Northwestern University’s Athletic Training Residency, where he provides instruction on the consideration of comorbidities in clinical reasoning for residents pursuing specialization in rehabilitation.
Matt lives in Buffalo, New York, with his wife, Barb, and their daughter Molly. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar and drinking coffee.
