The pandemic jumpstarted Maegan's healthcare career while she was at UNH by offering her a state-sponsored job working for ConvenientMD, traveling through the state of New Hampshire to assist in all point-of-care testing with a focus on COVID-19 tests. Post-grad and post-pandemic, Maegan worked as an in-patient Phlebotomist at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, relocating from California to the Seacoast until the Summer of 2024. While working in the lab at WDH, she got my certification as a Clinical Medical Assistant and worked for an Internal Medicine Residency program through Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Tufts Medicine. The introduction to graduate medical education inspired Maegan to look for her first non-clinical role. She has loved being in the MGB family for the past two years, so she pursued the IHP as it aligned with the values she already held.
