M joined the Office of Student Affairs and Services in January of 2022 as the Accessibility and Wellness Coordinator. They work to collaborate with and support students to ensure equitable access to resources and encourage means for students to thrive rather than simply survive. They bring these ongoing goals to fruition through both their casual open-door policy and their more formal planning and implementation of educational programming, training, and other initiatives. M always strives to bring these resources and knowledge to students, staff, and faculty alike.

M has personal, educational, and professional experience in the world of disabilities and has always had a passion for growing their knowledge and widening their perspectives. Prior to the IHP, M worked for more than five years as a direct support professional and worked alongside disabled adults with varying levels of support needs. They ensured that every learning procedure used was evidence-based and customized to the person they were working with through collaboration and advocacy.
