Emily "M" Meyer is the Associate Director of Student Accessibility & Support Services, having joined the Institute in January 2022. They provide individualized support for students with disabilities and guide faculty and staff on how to best implement accommodations in testing, academic, and clinical environments. M’s work emphasizes collaboration and a balance between continuous quality and process improvement in the assessment and delivery of accessibility and wellness services. Spanning over a decade, M's personal, educational, and professional experience with disability shapes an approach that emphasizes student-centered support and meaningful participation. Before joining the IHP, they spent more than five years as a direct support professional, partnering with disabled adults across a range of support needs.
