Lynn Wiatrowski is the former head of Bank of America’s Healthcare, Education, and Not For Profit (HENFP) Treasury Sales business. During her career, she built and led a national treasury services team that provided domestic and international treasury and liquidity solutions to clients in specialized sectors, including healthcare providers and payers, higher education, and cultural and social services organizations.
With associates located in 35 cities across the country, Lynn’s HENFP Treasury teams provided strategic treasury advice, consultative process reviews, and platform integration guidance for a wide-ranging portfolio of clients and prospective clients, including relationships with 90% of the top healthcare providers and payers, and top national universities.
A 40+ year veteran of Bank of America and its legacy institutions, Lynn’s banking career also included executive leadership roles in relationship management, capital raising, and business strategy for middle market and specialty businesses. She specialized in helping mission-driven organizations navigate complex financial challenges, including accessing capital, optimizing liquidity strategies, and structuring treasury management solutions.
Lynn has long been active in the not-for-profit sector. She served as board chair of the Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare and for the MA/RI Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Lynn also served on the board of Citizen Schools and is an emeriti director and past capital campaign co-chair for the University of New Hampshire (UNH) Foundation.
In retirement, she continues to support community organizations, including her alma mater, the University of New Hampshire, the Schwartz Center, HFMA, and now the MGH Institute of Health Professions.
Lynn resides in Boston’s Back Bay with her husband, Dr. Joren C. Madsen, a cardiac surgeon and director of the Transplant Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.
