Kaitlynn "Katie" Stinson joined the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2024 as a Reference Librarian for Outreach and Engagement. In this role, she is responsible for providing library instruction to the various IHP programs, supervising graduate workers, coordinating outreach programs, and managing the library's course reserves. Before joining the Institute, Katie worked at Stanford School of Medicine's Lane Medical Library as a library specialist, where she assisted in many projects across the library, including being a core member of the Marketing Communications Team, participating in outreach events, designing the Medical History Center exhibits, managing classes and CME coordination, and more. Katie received a BA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Michigan and an MLIS (Master of Library and Information Studies) from San Jose State University.
