James Canfield is executive vice president at the Boston real estate firm Newmark/McCall/Almy. He has spent most of his professional career at the firm, specializing in medical, educational and institutional clients. A Scituate resident, he has been chair of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, and chair of its political action committee. He also was president of the Real Estate Finance Association, and was a member and president of the Business Associates Club.
Canfield, who graduated magna cum laude with an economics degree from Colby College, has held several leadership positions at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, where he currently serves as a director. He also is a member of the Real Estate Committee for the Archdiocese of Boston Finance Council.
He joined the Board of Trustees in 2017.
