Dr. Lababidi is an educator, simulationist, researcher, clinician, and mentor. Dr. Lababidi has been instrumental in promoting healthcare simulation worldwide. Dr. Lababidi established and was the Director of CRESENT at KFMC for 13 years, the flagship of simulation centers under the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Lababidi is the co-founder of the Saudi Society for Simulation in Healthcare. He is also a reviewer and member of the Board of Review of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) Accreditation Committee. Dr. Lababidi completed his Ph.D. studies from MGH Institute of Health Professions – Simulation Track.
Dr. Lababidi is a Senior Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Consultant at King Fahad Medical City (KFMC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and at Sanford Health in Fargo, USA.
Dr. Lababidi is on the editorial board and/or reviewer of many scientific journals. Dr. Lababidi has written three book chapters on simulation, has more than 50 publications in peer review journals, and has more than 500 presentations at national, regional, and international conferences.
