Gregory (Greg) Hamann is a healthcare leader with management experience overseeing small to large comprehensive and multi-site programs for some of the world’s leading academic medical centers – teaching affiliates of Harvard Medical School. Greg has extensive experience in business planning, data modeling and analysis, problem-solving, and relationship management. As a LEAN Six Sigma Greenbelt, he has worked on a number of strategic initiatives that have required change management, including revamping programs, clinics, and systems and driving large-scale facilities projects. In his current role at Boston Children’s Hospital, Greg oversees the hospital’s eight satellite locations, which represent 40 percent of enterprise-wide ambulatory volume. With each site having its own micro-culture, he takes great care to work across the sites to promote excellence in patient care and client services. In addition to his passion for healthcare, expertise in highly complex operations, and background in strategic development and implementation, Greg is very interested in growing and mentoring the next generation of healthcare leaders. He spearheaded the creation of the Boston Children’s Administrative Fellowship, which receives hundreds of applications yearly.
