Emilie Larrivee is an ASHA-certified Speech and Language Pathologist, who also holds certification as a Speech and Language Pathologist through the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. In addition, Emilie holds professional licensure as a Specialist Teacher in Speech Language and Hearing Disorders and remains licensed as an Administrator of Special Education, both through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Emilie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Roger Williams University in Visual Arts before obtaining a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the MGH Institute of Health Professions (IHP). Emilie went on to obtain her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership with a focus in Special Education before obtaining a Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology degree from the IHP.
Emilie specializes in pediatric language and literacy disorders. Her experience includes working with children and adults with a wide variety of developmental speech, language, and reading delays/disorders. Emilie has worked in various settings, including higher education, public and independent schools, special education collaboratives, private practice, and pediatric outpatient clinics.
Emilie teaches the elective course Special Topics: SLP in Schools at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston.
