Driena is a second-year honor student in the biology program at Suffolk University who joined the SPaN-AD lab as a research intern to gain expertise in speech acoustics and kinematics in older adults with cognitive impairments and those at risk for Alzheimer’s disease. Her research interests include molecular and genetic causes for degenerative diseases, and reproductive biology and development.
