With more than 30 years of healthcare management experience, Debra Rogers is a seasoned healthcare leader who most recently served as the Interim President and Chief Operating Officer at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA. She enjoys mentoring physicians and administrative staff and teaching and developing leaders.

Debra will be the Instructor for the MHA Practicum at MGH’s Institute of Healthcare Professions.

From 2013 until January 2024, Debra held the position of Senior Vice President for Ophthalmology at Mass Eye and Ear, where she led programs in clinical growth and expansion of services, research, and education and was instrumental in improving access for patients. Debra retired from Mass Eye and Ear in January 2024.

Prior to joining Mass Eye and Ear, Debra held positions at Beth Israel Deaconess as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Department of Surgery. At Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Debra was the Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services and Director of Finance for the Department of Surgery. She has also held positions at Lahey Clinic and Hallmark Health; both organizations having now changed their names after joining healthcare networks in the Boston market.
