For the past thirteen years, Daniel Ehlke, PhD has taught courses in health policy, health advocacy, and comparative health at SUNY-Downstate School of Public Health in Brooklyn, New York. There he won the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching. His research interests include health reform episodes and market mechanisms within the context of government-run health care programs like Medicare. He is a 2009 doctoral graduate of Brown University in Political Science, and earned his BA (2001) in Government and History from the College of William & Mary. Outside of health policy, Dr. Ehlke is an avid weather enthusiast.
