Dan Sullivan is the Vice Chairman of Trustbridge Partners. Trustbridge Partners, founded in 2006, is a global private equity firm. Dan joined Trustbridge in 2015. Healthcare is the largest investment focus area for Trustbridge. Trustbridge, in collaboration with, and with support from, Mass General Hospital, constructed and opened the Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital in 2017. The Jiahui Hospital is part of the Carebridge Healthcare System which is the largest, and most widely respected, private healthcare provider in Shanghai. Dan has worked directly and extensively with MGH since 2012 during this initiative.

Dan served as a Member of the Mass General Center For Global Health from 2010 until year end 2022. Dan, and his wife Marjie, have directly supported MGH work in South Africa and Uganda relating to the treatment of AIDS and related co-infectious diseases. Dan and Marjie have previously supported the work of Dr Bruce Walker while at MGH as well as the important work of the Ragon Institute. Marjie, a retired Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, and Dan have supported several MGH Nursing initiatives.

Dan was previously a Partner at Goldman, Sachs &Co. where he was employed from 1977 until 1994. Dan co-founded Goldman’s High Yield, Leveraged Finance and Emerging Markets Debt businesses. Dan also served on Goldman’s Global Compliance Committee. Dan was a Partner and Member of the Management Committee at the Mariner Investment Group from 2001 through 2013.

Dan served on the Columbia University Investment Management Committee from 2003-2017. Dan also previously served as a trustee of Jobs For Youth, Boston College High School and the Winsor School.

Dan received his undergraduate degree from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 1975 and he received his MBA from Columbia University in 1977.
