Carlina works in the Physician Assistant Studies Program at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Prior to coming to the Institute, she spent eight years as the PA Program Manager at MCPHS University before moving to Mass General in 2015. At the Hospital, she dedicated seven years to the Pediatrics and Medicine-Pediatrics residencies and fellowship programs as the Program Manager. She most recently worked as the Program Manager for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residencies and fellowship programs.

Carlina graduated in the Summer of 2023 with a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from MCPHS University, where most of her research focused on burnout.
