Brittany Palaski, MPAS, PA-C, has been an integral part of the MGH Institute of Health Professions since 2017, contributing her expertise as a term lecturer in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies since 2023 as part of the patient skills and assessment course. Her journey as an instructor with the institute began in 2020 as a distinguished guest lecturer and evolved into a full-time faculty position in January 2024.
A graduate of the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2019, Brittany earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2015. Her professional journey includes invaluable experiences as a medical scribe and surgical assistant at a local dermatology practice before embarking on her Physician Assistant training at the IHP in 2017. Recognized for her exceptional leadership qualities, she was honored with the Student Excellence in Leadership Award in 2019.
Brittany's clinical background encompasses family medicine and urgent care at a local community health center, where she dedicated her skills to serving a diverse and underserved population. This postgraduate experience significantly shaped her perspective, and she is passionate about imparting these insights to her students through her teaching.
In addition to her role at the MGH Institute, Brittany remains actively engaged in clinical practice with the North Shore Physicians Group. As part of an interprofessional collaborative team, she takes on responsibilities such as on-call duties and telemedicine, providing valuable healthcare services to local primary and specialty offices.
