Ashley Wong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetic Counseling within the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Her role at the IHP primarily involves coordinating and supervising genetic counseling students for their pediatric genetics clinical rotation.
She currently works as a genetic counselor at the Division of Medical Genetics and Metabolism at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children, and serves as the dedicated genetic counselor for multidisciplinary programs for several conditions including Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia, Klinefelter syndrome, and Turner syndrome. She has a special interest in helping individuals with sex chromosome variations understand and process the health and psychological impact of their diagnoses.
